Allison Harper has been named the Marshall University Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Conference USA Women’s Golf Championship leading to a record setting season.

The freshman shot a team-best 232 at her first C-USA Championships to finish tied for 26th.   

Harper finished her first year with the Thundering Herd with a program record setting 77.3 stroke average, surpassing Tammie Green’s and Larie Lynch’s 77.5. 

Harper played in 25 rounds of action during the 2010-11 campaign and earned five top-10 finishes.  Her 71 in the first round of the season was the team’s lowest round in 2010-11 and lead to a second place finish for the Upper Arlington, Ohio native.
