BLUEFIELD, W.Va. - The 2008 Marshall University Big Green Coaches Tour will kick-off its summer excursion on Monday with a stop at the Mountain View Conference Center (formerly the Upper Classman II) on Cumberland Road in Bluefield, W.Va., for their annual visit with the Four Seasons Big Green Club.
Marshall University men's basketball coach Donnie Jones, women's basketball coach Royce Chadwick, defensive coordinator Rick Minter, assistant men's coach Shawn Finney and executive director of the Big Green John Sutherland will all be on hand at the tour stop. The event starts with a 6:30 p.m. reception featuring Marco and the MU cheerleaders.
Roger Topping, president of the Four Seasons Big Green Club, announced that prizes such as season tickets in both football and basketball will be available on Monday night.
Ticket manager Matt Monroe will also be on hand to serve those who wish to purchase ticket for the Herd's six-game home football schedule.

Cost of the dinner is $30 per person, with all proceeds going to the Big Green Scholarship Foundation which provides an education for more than 350 student-athletes at Marshall.
The Bluefield dinner is one of 13 stops on the Coaches Tour. The next is in Mingo County on May 20 and it concludes with a golf tournament on the Old White course at the Greenbrier on June 23. For more information contact Sam Stanley at the Big Green office at 304-696-3401.
