Amber Edwards is entering her 1st year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Thundering Herd. She will be working with the football and golf programs.
Prior to arriving at Marshall, Edwards served as an intern athletic trainer for football at the University of Texas in Austin, Texas for the 2016-2017 season.
Edwards served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the University of Louisiana-Monroe from 2014-2016 and received her Master of Science degree in Exercise Science. While at ULM she was the lead graduate assistant with football.
Edwards, a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Troy University in 2014. While at Troy, she served as a student athletic trainer with several teams including a year long stint with men's basketball.
