Piper graduated from the University of Florida in May of 2013 with a degree in Sport Management. He interned at Florida Gulf Coast University in the spring and served as the contact for softball and women's tennis and assisted with men's basketball, which made history as the first No. 15 seed to advance to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

During his tenure at UF, Piper worked two Southeastern Conference Championships and served as a student assistant in the University Athletic Association for three years, aiding with day-to-day responsibilities and events for all 19 NCAA sports at UF.

Piper, a native of Sunrise, Fla., is the primary contact for men's basketball, men's soccer, cross country for Marshall.
