Dan is currently in his second year as a member of the Marshall University sports medicine staff. As the associate head athletic trainer, he is primarily responsible for the athletic training needs of the football program.
He joined the Thundering Herd in March of 2013 after serving two seasons in similar capacity as the head football athletic trainer at Samford University in Birmingham, Ala.
Jacobi was an assistant athletic trainer at the University of West Alabama from 2010-11 after earning his Master of Arts Degree in Health Studies from the University of Alabama in the Spring of 2010. During his time in Tuscaloosa, he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer where he was primarily assigned to football. Dan received his undergraduate education from the University of Central Florida where he graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. In 2007, Dan also had the opportunity to serve as an intern athletic trainer for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Originally from Molino, Fla., Dan currently resides in Barboursville with his wife, Mallory.
