Jillian Boys began working as an academic counselor in September 2011.

She oversees academic advising for women's cross country, track and field, swimming and diving, baseball, volleyball and cheerleading. Boys began working at Marshall in September 2010 as the program assistant for the men's basketball program.

Beginning March 2009, Boys worked for the Cincinnati Reds overseeing luxury suites admission/guest relations as a suite ambassador. In October 2008, she worked for New Richmond Exempted Village School District and other school districts as the freshmen girls' basketball coach and assistant varsity softball coach.

Boys worked for the Lexington Horsemen, and Arena II professional football team in January 2008. There she worked in the front office and assisted in sales, promotions, media relations and ticketing.

After playing softball at Hanover College, Boys earned her bachelor's degree in Sports Management in 2007 from Eastern Kentucky University. She also earned her master's degree from EKU in Sports Administration in 2008.
