Using the 2013 fall semester with the Thundering Herd as his final internship credit for Morehead State, Austin will graduate in December with a sport management degree. He will work toward an MBA at Marshall beginning in spring 2014. Austin helped create the Sport Business Society at Morehead State and served as co-President. He served two years as a student assistant in the athletic media relations office during undergrad and worked closely with volleyball, men's and women's basketball, as well as tennis.
The Florence, Ky., native will be the primary contact for volleyball, track and field and tennis. He also will serve as the secondary contact for men's and women's basketball.
