Shae McPhaul was hired on at Marshall as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in July 2011. She will
primarily be working with the Swimming & Diving, Men's & Women's Cross Country, and the Track &
Field teams.
McPhaul earned a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University in
Statesboro, GA. While at GSU, she worked football, women's basketball, baseball, tennis, swimming
and diving, and at a physical therapy clinic. McPhaul was awarded the opportunity to intern for the
WNBA's Atlanta Dream during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. She was a part of the Eastern Conference
championship and WNBA Finals in 2010.
McPhaul is pursuing a Master's Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Athletic Training while
attending Marshall University. McPhaul is originally from Savannah, Georgia and enjoys sports, music,
and being with family and friends.
