Michelle Truncali joined the Marshall University Strength and Conditioning staff in August 2017. She is responsible for all aspects of strength and conditioning training for the Women’s Basketball, Men’s Soccer, and Women’s Tennis teams.
Before coming to Marshall, Truncali spent two years as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Belmont University. At Belmont, she was responsible for all aspects of strength and conditioning for the Women’s Soccer, Softball, and the Men’s Golf programs, and also assisted with Men and Women’s Basketball.
In 2016, Truncali spent the summer working at UNC Chapel Hill as a Volunteer Strength and Conditioning Coach. She also completed internships at UCONN, Northeastern University and Quinnipiac University, along with serving as Student Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Endicott College.
A native of Connecticut, Truncali earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from Endicott College, and her Master of Science in Sport Administration from Belmont University. Truncali is certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS).
