Ty Osborne enters his first year as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions at Marshall after serving as a graduate assistant for the Marshall University Sports Information Department for the past two years. Prior to his time with the Thundering Herd, Osborne worked as an intern for the Sports Media Department at Wofford College and was also a student assistant for Presbyterian College's Sports Media Department for two years.
As the newly appointed Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions, Osborne will be coordinating advertising and marketing campaigns, while looking to increase brand awareness through social media platforms and community relationship development. Osborne will also focus on developing the overall image campaign of Marshall Athletics through diverse marketing plans and oversee game day presentations and game scripts.
Having a broad range of experience in communications, marketing, event planning, graphic design, and facilities, the 24-year old South Carolina native looks to utilize previous professional experiences to promote the opening of the Veterans Memorial Soccer Complex and add to the ongoing Vision Campaign.
A former long-time resident of Lexington, S.C., Osborne received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Presbyterian College in 2010, where he played football for the Blue Hose for three seasons. This past December, he graduated from Marshall University with a Master of Science in Sports Administration.
