Marketing & Promotions Internship
You've probably seen them at a Marshall game, throwing t-shirts when The Herd scores a goal or handing you a water bottle as you enter the stands. The MU Marketing & Promotions team consists of Marshall Students who intern in the Athletics Marketing Office.
The MU Marketing & Promotions team is responsible for assisting the Athletics Department in marketing and game operations at Thundering Herd sporting events. As interns, they gain an inside look into Marshall Athletics and all that is entailed in promoting a thrilling and exciting experience at Herd sporting events. Marketing & Promotion interns gain first-hand knowledge of marketing collegiate athletics and real-world experience that will benefit their pursuit of a career in almost any field.
The MU Marketing & Promotions team is involved in game day preparation and promotion of many Thundering Herd sports including men & women's soccer, volleyball, football, men & women's basketball, softball and baseball. They also put their creative minds to work by developing marketing plans and designing new and entertaining halftime promotions as well as creating slogans to promote Marshall Athletics. Being a part of the MU Marketing & Promotions team is a unique, fun and rewarding job experience.
