This week's Big Green Donor of the Week is Kevin Miller.
Kevin is the vice-president of the Lincoln County Friends of Marshall Club (LCFOMC), and has served in a leadership position four out of the club's first 5 years in existence. The club has been instrumental in donating thousands of dollars to the Big Green, Alumni Association and other areas of the university.
A Senior Geologist with the EnerVest Corporation, which according to its website is one of the largest oil and gas companies in the United States, Kevin has put to good use is Bachelor of Arts Degree (Geology) he earned from Marshall in 1997.
On game days you can expect to see Kevin, his wife Lora and daughter Kaylee cheering on the Herd, but when he's not working or supporting Marshall you will most likely find him outside. An avid hunter, fisherman and golfer Kevin says the outdoors serve as "his release" from the daily grind.
Favorite Marshall Moment?
"Without question, watching Willy Merrick kick the game winning field goal and the Herd celebrate its first national championship!"
Favorite Marshall Athlete?
"It has to be Chad Pennington, he says, Chad is a first class individual with a great personality and determination to support his alma mater."
Why do you give to the Big Green?
"I enjoy giving back to the school that helped me obtain an education. Anytime I can support the Big Green, I feel confident I am making a difference for all of the student athletes."
