Thundering Herd fans in the Charlotte, N.C. area are invited to meet and greet new Marshall University Athletic Director Mike Hamrick at a Big Green sponsored reception on Thursday, March 25.

Organized by the new Charlotte Big Green chapter, Hamrick will appear at the Providence Café (100 Perrin Place) for a 6 p.m. reception. Reservations are encouraged by contacting Noel Hughes (304-696-3385 or hugheska@marshall.edu) by Monday, March 22.

Hamrick is excited about this visit because the Charlotte area has so many MU alumni and Herd fans. He will talk about his vision for Marshall Athletics. The $15 reception will include heavy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
