HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The 2010 Big Green Coaches Tour picks up steam next week with stops in Ohio, Kentucky and two in West Virginia.
On Monday, May 24, coaches Doc Holliday and Tom Herrion, along with athletic director Mike Hamrick will travel to the Columbus, Ohio area for a dinner with Thundering Herd fans at the Scioto Reserve Country Club in Powell, Ohio.
Then it’s on to Lexington, Ky., on Wednesday, May 26, to play golf and then have dinner at the Andover Country Golf and Country Club.
The tour returns to West Virginia at Charleston on Thursday, May 27, with a cookout at Smith Company Motor Cars dealership off Corridor G, U.S. Route 19. There will be no admission charge for this event, which begins at 5:30 p.m. with the Smokin’ Thunder providing a barbeque feast.
Then the tour’s busy week winds up Friday, May 28, with a golf tournament hosted by the MGM (Mason/Gallia/Meigs) chapter at the riverside Golf Club in Mason. The MGM chapter has announced that this tournament is sold out.
After this week the Big Green Coaches Tour still has stops in Ashland, Ky. (June 1), Parkersburg (June 3), Lincoln County (June 5), Beckley (June 7), Princeton (June 8), Logan (June 9), Hurricane (June 10), Cincinnati (June 13) and The Greenbrier (July 13).
