HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -
There are just two stops left on the 2010 Big Green Coaches Tour and it looks like these two stops will have an abundance of Thundering Herd fans attending.
The tour, featuring athletic director Mike Hamrick, football coach Doc Holliday and basketball coach Tom Herrion heads to Charlotte, N.C., for the first time Tuesday, June 22, where more than 80 golfers have made reservations and another 40 will join them for dinner.
Then the final stop comes on July 13 at the Old White Course at The Greenbrier just two weeks before the PGA professionals play the famed West Virginia course. Reservations for this golf tournament and reception are also pouring in to the Big Green office.
Doug Riley, the Big Green leader in Charlotte, says reservations are still being accepted for both golf and dinner at the Emerald Lake Golf Club in Matthews, N.C., just south of Charlotte. Those interested in attending should contact Riley at 704-947-0470 or firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Big Green office toll free at 866-443-7310. Cost is $75 for golf at 1:30 p.m.and dinner and $12 for the 6:30 p.m. dinner only.
The July 13 Greenbrier event will tee off at noon. The cost is $250 per person or $1,000 per foursome. Contact the Big Green office for more information or to make reservations.
