Jr. Thundering Herd Cheer Clinic Flyer
The Marshall University Cheerleaders will host the annual Jr. Thundering Herd Cheer Clinic on Saturday, February 22. Children Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to participate. The cost of the clinic is $40.00 per child and includes: cheer clinic, a ticket for the child to the men's basketball game vs. MTSU, pregame performance, a clinic t-shirt, picture with Marco, and pizza before the game.
Registration for the clinic can be found on the Cheerleading link on HerdZone.com. Please fill out the registration form and mail it with payment to "Marshall Cheerleaders P.O. Box 1360 Huntington, WV 25715." The cutoff date for registration and payment is February 10, 2014 to ensure a clinic t-shirt. Walk-ins and late registration are welcome, but not guaranteed a shirt. Applications and payments must be postmarked by February 10th, 2014. Cancellations after this date will forfeit $10 of their registration fee. Once your registration is received, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
The Jr. Thundering Herd Clinic is conducted by the Marshall University Cheerleaders. Participants will learn some of the cheers and a dance that the Marshall Cheerleaders perform at games, as well as receive instruction on various cheer techniques. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the clinic will begin at 9 a.m. At 12 p.m., participants will have a pizza party with the Marshall Cheerleaders. Then participants will prepare to perform during pregame at the Marshall men's basketball game vs. MTSU. Parents are encouraged to stay for the clinic to see their little cheerleader hard at work!
