2013: Ran in all five meets for the Herd including in the Tommy Evans Invitational (Sept. 5) where he ran a season best 22:57.00 ...Also helped led Marshall to an overall win at the Evansville Invitational (Oct. 19) ... At the Mid-Atlantic Regionals (Nov.15),finished 153rd with a time of 34:32.

2012: Frohnapfel competed in four meets during 2012 with his top finish of the season having been a 37th place result at the Tommy Evans Invitational (Sept. 6) with a time of 23:26.

2011: Did not compete in any races but landed on the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2010: Ran a 5K time of 15:46 at the EKU Relays... Was 33rd overall at the Old Timers Classic while running an 8K time of 27:55... Placed sixth on the team and 21st overall at the Evansville Invitational in a time of 26:10, his best of the season... Was 49th at the C-USA Championships with a time of 26:42.

2009: Had his best finish at the Furman Invitational by placing 18th... Was 21st at the Greensboro Invitational... 50th at the C-USA Championships.

Prior to Marshall: Was a two time NCAC first team performer along with earning First Team All-State in cross country in 2008... Was a member of the 2006 AAA state championship team... Was the 2009 University High Athlete of the Year.

Personal: Son of Ed and Mary Frohnapfel... Older brother Eric also ran at Marshall... Plans to major in athletic training.
