Herd Finishes Strong at C-USA Championships

Women's Team Reaches New Heights

2012:Number of Meets Participated In/Scheduled: 7/7... Led the Marshall men's team in six of seven races during the season... Finished fourth at the Evansville Invitational with an 8k time of 25:45.16 that led the team to a second place finish... Also finished fourth at the Tommy Evans Invitational... Led the team to a higher finish than SEC teams Vanderbilt, LSU, and Alabama at the Commodore Classic with a 30th place 8k time of 25:33.10 that was good enough to hand the Herd a 9th place finish amongst 24 teams... Ran to a 12th place finish at the C-USA Championships... C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll member.

2011:Finished 28th at the C-USA Championships with a season best time of 25:42.6 in the 8k race and helped guide the Herd to a 5th place finish... Placed first on the team and 31st overall out of 190 racers at the Vanderbilt Invitational as Marshall finished just inside the top-half... Finished second on the team and 14th overall at the Evansville Invitational with an 8k time of 26:13.04 that helped the team finish third overall... Placed 79th out of 183 runners at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional 10k with a time of 32:37.8 that was second best on the team and helped it achieve its best finish to date at the event (14 out of 25)... C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2010: Had a breakout sophomore season which included three Top-10 finishes... Started the season by leading the team at the EKU Relays and running a 14:26 time in the 5K, placing thrid overall... Was 11th overall at the Old Timers Classic and second on the team with a time of 26:15... Was 5th at the Greater Louisville Classic, crossing the line in 25:13... Posted his best 8K time of the year at the Evansville Invitational and helped the Herd finish 1-2 as he was second with a time of 24:29... Placed 14th at the C-USA Championship meet, finishing in a time of 24:30... Was a Second-Team All-Conference USA Selection... Was a member of the 2010 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2009: Had four top-ten finishes on the season... Was 9th at the EKU Invitational... 25th at the Mel Brodt Invitational... 9th at the Greensboro Invitational... 10th place at the Furman Invitational... Had his best finish of the season by placing 5th at the Evansville Invitational, and was 32nd overall at the C-USA Championships.
