Chicago, Ill. - Freshman Eric Frohnapfel (Morgantown, W.Va.) finished in 32nd place in the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Classic in a time of 25:47. The Marshall University men's cross country team finished 11th out of 21 teams in the men's gold division Saturday.

Senior Travis Epling (Point Pleasant, W.Va.) continued to add to his impressive senior year by finishing 36th with a time of 25:54.

Marshall University women's cross country team was able to finish in 14th place out of 19 teams in the women's gold division.

Freshman Darby Mullen was the top finisher for the women's team in 42nd place with a time of 19:10.

The Thundering Herd will be back in action October 13, at the Furman Invitational in Greenville, S.C.
