Assistant Coach Caleb Bowen on the meet:

“I believe we learned a lot from today. The women’s team performed extremely well considering we had to run without two girls that are normally our No. 2 and No. 4 runners. Andrea Porter and Taylor Craigo led the charge. But the biggest surprise was Amber Govey. She stepped up when we needed her to and ran extremely well. I'm proud of the ladies and I believe they are going to run even better these next three meets.”

“On the men’s side, I feel like we could have run a whole lot better. We went out too slow and never really made the moves needed to place well. However, Tyler Salmons and Tony Hayes stepped up and had break out races. All in all, we had some good performances and we keep progressing for the championship season coming up.
