Assistant coach Caleb Bowen on the meet:

“I am so proud of both squads today. Everyone ran hard and competed with some of the best runners in the country. In the men's race, Nick Schmidt tucked in right behind the top 21 and hung right there for the whole race. He ran awesome and I'm super pumped to see what he's going to do in the future. Another runner that ran exceptionally well was Tony Hayes. He finally had a breakthrough race and it's awesome to see him back to his peak form.”

“On the ladies side, Adriana and Andrea killed it! I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of these two. They gave it their all to get All-Conference. Even though they fell short of the top 21, they gave an All-Conference effort which is all I expect.

“I'm very excited to see what the future holds for both men and women's teams because I know we are just going to keep getting better and better.”
