Bethlehem, Penn. - The Marshall University cross country team will compete in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional, Saturday, Nov. 10. The event will be held on Lehigh University's Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.

The men's race will feature 33 schools, including defending champion and nationally ranked Georgetown.

The women's race will feature 33 schools, including defending champion and nationally ranked Princeton, along with ranked West Virginia, Georgetown and Penn State.

The top two teams at each regional meet automatically qualify for the championship meet. Thirteen addition at-large teams will be selected by the track and field subcommittee on November 11.

The first four individuals not on a qualifying team automatically advance to the finals. Two additional qualifiers will be selected for an at-large bid on the highest non-qualifying finish in the regional championship meets.

The men's 8k race will take place at 11 a.m. and the women's race will follow at 12:15 p.m.
