Herd Track and Field, Cross Country to Host Clinic January 7
Features Individual Training for Athletes and Coaches
HUNTINGTON, W.Va.—Marshall University Track/Field and Cross Country will host a clinic on Saturday January 7, 2016 at the Chris Cline Athletic Complex.
The clinic is open for athletes grades six and up, as well as coaches. The clinic opens for registration beginning at 8 a.m., and runs until noon.
The clinic features current Marshall athletes, as well as the team’s experienced coaching staff, including Track and Field assistant coaches Don Yentes and Travis Coleman, and Cross Country assistant coach Caleb Bowen.
9:00am-12:00pm—Sprints / Hurdles / Block Starts / Specific Training- Coach Don Yentes & Current Athletes
9:00am-12:00pm—Shot / Discus /Throws Specific Training- Coach Travis Coleman & Current Athletes
9:00am-12:00pm— XC / Long Distance / Specific Training - Coach Caleb Bowen & Current Athletes
The price is $30 for coaches, and for athletes it is $60 if pre-registered, and $75 at the door.
