2015 (Junior): Appeared in 29 games, starting two … used primarily as a relief pitcher, he threw 30.2 innings with 19 strikeouts … his longest outing came against Florida Atlantic (April 4), where he went 3.1 innings and gave up just one run on three hits … earned his first win in relief against George Mason (March 8) after he threw 1.1 innings and didn’t allow a run and only gave up one hit … grabbed his second win against FIU (March 28) and his third against Charlotte (April 12) … finished the season with a 3.52 ERA.

2014 (Sophomore): 
Holds the Marshall record for single season pitching appearances with 36... was nationally ranked in the top three prior to NCAA postseason play...Pitched four perfect innings of relief on 5/11 vs. ODU, both his longest outing of 2014 and his college career...did not allow a run until 4/23 versus West Virginia, going 25 consecutive appearances without allowing a run...only allowed four runs on the season and just two in C-USA... made nine appearances where he face just one batter and recorded a strikeout...finished the season with a team leading 2.29 ERA in 19.2 innings of work, recording 18 strikeouts (six looking)...finished with a .171 opponent batting average... allowed just one extra base hit this season.

Summer League: Played with the Front Royal Cardinals in the Valley League in 2013...went 2-0 with a 2.81 ERA

High School:Attended Cabell Midland High School where he was a 1st Team All-State selection in baseball and selected as the 2010-2011 WV Sports Writer's Player of the Year

Personal: Born on May 5, 1993...Son of Kevin and Juli Ross... brother Aaron attended WVU and sister Hannah attends Cabell Midland High School.. majoring in Sports Management with a minor in History
