2016 (Senior): All-Conference USA first team selection … named to the C-USA All-Tournament team … appeared in and started 16 games … set the school record in career wins with 20 … was the Herd’s primary Friday starter … had a team-best 8-3 record through 103.2 innings pitched with 85 strikeouts … held a 6-1 record in C-USA play with 55 strikeouts and a 2.88 ERA … had a season-high 11 strikeouts against FIU (May 25) in the first round of the C-USA Tournament … tossed two complete games against UAB (May 6) and Old Dominion (May 19) … pitched 12.1 innings in the C-USA Tournament with 15 strikeouts and a 2.23 ERA … finished the season with a 3.39 ERA ... named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2015 (Junior):
Voted to the All-Conference USA second team and selected to the C-USA All-Academic team appeared in 12 games, starting nine … had a 7-1 record through 55 innings pitched with 37 strikeouts … picked up his first win of the season at Florida A&M (Feb. 14) as he threw five innings and struckout seven while allowing no runs on two hits … worked his way into the starting rotation in April and won his first three conference starts against Charlotte (April 10), Old Dominion (April 17) and Middle Tennessee (April 24) … finished the season with a team-low 2.95 ERA.

2014 (Sophomore): 
Made 19 appearances this season, including seven starts... became the third weekend starter after Josh King's season ending injury...went 6.2 innings allowing just one run off three hits and a walk on 4/27 versus UAB while recording four strikeouts...repeated his 2013 season with a season opening relief win after two scoreless innings on Opening Day (2/15-Georgetown)...finished the season with a 2-3 record... recorded 30 strikeouts (nine looking) in 43 innings pitched... named to Collegiate All-American third team for his work in the summer prospect league with WV Miners

2013 (Freshman): Marshall's Friday starter for the first half of his true freshman season...threw five innings of one-hit, scoreless baseball in the Herd's season opener against Old Dominion (2/15)...sat down 13 in a row in that contest...finished the season 3-4 with an ERA of 6.04...was 2-4 with a 5.23 ERA in starts...turned in back-to-back quality starts against USC Upstate (3/1) and Northern Kentucky (3/9)...made one more QS against Morehead State (4/30)...struck out his career high of six against Central Michigan (3/15)...kept WVU scoreless over five innings in Marshall's season series-clinching win over the Mountaineers (5/14)...finished the season with 30 K's and 26 walks in 53.2 innings of work.

High School: Won the commonwealth district championship in 2011 and 2012...earned first team all-district and second team all-region pitcher in 2011...won first team all-district pitcher and designated hitter in 2012...also won first team all-area DH in 2012...threw 143.1 innings over high school career...posted 18-6 record with an earned run average of 1.86...struck out 154 hitters and held opposing hitters to .187 average...went 8-2 with 59 strikeouts in final season.

Personal: Born June 8, 1994...son of Perry and Tina Boster...has one brother: Kyle...majoring in chemistry with a minor in criminal justice.
