Career: Began his Marshall career at short stop in his freshman season before being moved to second base 30 games in...singled to left in his first collegiate plate appearance (2/17), drove in his first run a day later (2/18), and scored for the first time in the team's first true weekend series (2/24)...battled long counts with some of the league's top pitchers and became a consistent hitter in the Marshall lineup as the season progressed.
2012: Batted .264 in 53 games, making 50 starts as a true freshman...singled in his first plate appearance against NC State (2/17)...recorded his first multihit game against Charleston Southern (2/26)...freshman jitters saw his average shrink to .154 in the middle of March but he responded by batting .409 in the month of April...tallied 12 multihit games and drove in multiple runs five times...strung together a span of 17 games reaching base.
High School: Played baseball and basketball at Boonton High School...lettered four years in baseball and two in basketball...batted .580, hit 12 homeruns, and knocked in 37 RBIs in senior season...also went 4-1 on the mound with 60 strikeouts...2011 NJAC Liberty Player of the Year recipient...captain of the baseball team junior and senior seasons...three-time Morris County and Daily Record selection...two-time NJAC Liberty Division selection (2010-11)...two-time Colonial Hills selection (2008, 2010)...first team Group One selection (2011)...all-time school leader in hits (110), homeruns (14), RBIs (104), career average (.490)...hit three home runs in Morris County semifinal game in 2011.
