Career: Moved around the middle of the Thundering Herd's lineup throughout most of his freshman season but batted in the cleanup spot for the final 11 games after proving to be able to produce in clutch situations...stayed in the cleanup spot for 17 games of his sophomore season...hits exceptionally well against both right-handers and left-handers...recorded his first base hit against Charleston Southern in his first collegiate plate appearance (2/26/2012)...led the team in run production in his sophomore season (31 RBI's).
2014:Provided the Herd with two walk-off victories (3/28-Tulane) and (5/2-LA Tech)... second on the team with 26 RBI...recorded a team-high 12-game hit streak that ended on 5/11 vs. ODU... also posted a 12-game on-base streak that ended the same game.
2013: Started and ended his sophomore campaign hot, batting .368 (7-for-19) in the month of February and .341 (14-for-41) in May...finished the season .266 in 53 games (51 starts)...led the Thundering Herd in RBI's with 31...one of only four Herd members with 50+ hits on the season...batted .308 (8-for-26) in seven games against nationally ranked opposition...hit his first collegiate homer against Tulane (4/27) in one of his 16 multihit games...orchestrated a 10-game hitting streak (5/1-5/17) but saw it end with an 0-for-3 outing against No. 20 Rice in the last game of the season...drove in multiple RBI's in a team-best nine games, including three three-RBI outings...tied with Gray Stafford for most outfield assists (four)...hit two doubles twice and finished with 12...drove in two runs with his first career triple against No. 20 Rice (5/16)...stole two bases against Northern Kentucky (3/9), finishing the season with four swipes.
2012: Batted .261 in his true freshman season...spent much of the first half of the year as a pinch hitter but earned a role as a starter in 17 of the final 19 games of the season...closed out the season well, going 13-for-46 (.283) in the month of May...drove in 12 runs in those final 11 games...belted out two doubles against Wake Forest (3/3) and Eastern Kentucky (5/9)...was successful in his only stolen base attempt of the season...struck out only 14 times in 111 at-bats...tallied seven multihit games and three three-hit games...drove in four runs at East Carolina (5/5).
Summer League: Played for the Ohio Warhawks for three seasons...was a member of the National Championship winning team in 2010 and 2011...played alongside Herd teammates Aaron Blair and Josh King with the Warhawks in 2011.
High School: Attended Troup High School with Herd teammate Josh King, where he was a standout in his freshman season...won Rookie of the Year in 2008 with a .280 average, two homeruns, and 20 RBIs...led the team to a post-season elite 8 appearance...batted .350 with eight doubles, five homeruns, and 28 RBIs in 2009...hit .410 with seven doubles and eight homeruns in 2010...batted .400 with six doubles, six homeruns, and one triple in 2011...won Mr. Troup Baseball honor in junior and senior seasons...awarded Iron Tiger in senior season.
