2009: Served as the primary catcher, starting 33 games...saw game action in a total of 38 games...collected 24 hits, 17 RBI and scored 12 runs...led the team with five sac flies...tied for fifth in C-USA with three base runners picked off...recorded four multi-RBI games and three multi-hit games...tallied a five-game hit streak (4/26-5/2)...lined a base hit, scored a run and knocked in three runs vs. Akron (2/20)...had two hits, two RBI and scored two runs vs. Radford (2/27)...hit first collegiate homer and added three RBI at USF (3/8).

2008: Saw action in 21 games and made 10 starts behind the plate...registered four total hits in 2008 including a double against NC State (3/26)...registered a .975 fielding percentage behind the plate.

High School: Named Perfect Game Top Prospect...hit .297 with a home run and 11 RBI during senior season...allowed just one stolen base and committed one passed ball from behind the plate...member of the North Carolina Region 6 State Games team...helped team to a 63-18 record during his three years there...maintained a 3.4 GPA.
