Career: Gifted middle infielder with a great bat...named to Conference USA's All-Freshman team in 2012...scored a run in his first game (2/17/2012) and picked up his first collegiate hit a day later...hit his first home run against No. 13 UCF (5/12/2012) and his second home run against No. 19 Houston (4/5/2013)...began his true freshman season at second base before being moved to shortstop 20 games into the year...started every game he was healthy enough to play in his freshman season.

2014:Started all 51 games at shortstop, committing just seven errors on the season...recorded 10 multihit games, including two games where he recorded three hits (4/1-Akron) and (4/11-UTSA)...third on the team with 19 RBI and tied for fourth with 18 runs...broke up a no-hitter against Middle Tennessee on 5/16 with a single through the left side in the 7th...hit in every spot in the batting order except 4th and 5th.

2013: Appeared in 53 games (52 starts)...batted .212 with 21 runs and 13 RBI's...nine multihit games which included three-hit games against Central Michigan (3/17) and Southern Miss (4/13)...came away with a monster game against No. 19 Houston where he walked, doubled, homered (2-for-5), scored once, and drove in six (4/5)...hit eight doubles on the year...stole three bags in four attempts.

2012: Started 42 games in his true freshman season, missing 12 due to a wrist injury...batted .302 for the year, being one of only three members of the Thundering Herd to bat over .300...led the team in batting average after a 2-for-3 outing against No. 9 Rice so his average climb to .330...batted .423 against nationally ranked opposition...registered 12 multihit games, and two four-hit games...stole seven bases on eight attempts...reached on an error, stole a base, and came around to score in his first collegiate atbat (at NC State, 2/17)...knocked in his first of 20 runs against Bryant (2/18)...finished the season on an eight-game hitting streak, matching a streak he claimed earlier in the season...named to Conference USA All-Freshman team.

High School: Went to G. Holmes Braddock High School all four years...won second team all-Dade in his sophomore , junior, and senior seasons.
