2014:Tied for a team high 13 starts with fellow righty Michael Taylor...earned C-USA Pitcher of the Week honors week of March 10 after his complete game, two-run performance against East Carolina on 3/9, where he recorded a career-high 11 strikeouts and walked just two batters... led the squad with 82 2/3 innings pitched and 58 strikeouts.
2013: Was one of five members of the Herd to appear 20 or more times (20)...made his first start (of the season and his career) in the final game of the regular season against No. 20 Rice (5/18)...suffered the loss to the Owls despite scattering five hits and two walks over five innings...began the season as one of a few options for the team's closer before being moved to a long reliever and eventually a weekend starter...finished the season with five decisions (all losses) and four saves...ERA was 5.18...went four-plus innings in four of his last eight appearances (including the start at Rice)...was a part of a shutout in each of his first two outings: at Old Dominion (2/15) and at North Carolina A&T (2/24)...threw six scoreless innings of relief against East Carolina (5/12)...struck out six and allowed two hits and four walks in that contest...gave up earned runs in only seven of his 19 relief appearances.
2012: Appeared in 22 games in his true freshman season...supplied the Thundering Herd with a 1-1 record and an earned run average of 4.18...struck out 23 hitters in 23.2 innings...conceded earned runs in only six different games...struck out the side against St. Bonaventure (3/18)...struck out four in 1.1 innings against Tulane (5/18).
High School: Attended Saint John Vianney High School where he pitched and hit for the baseball team and played quarterback and safety for the football team...received numerous accolades for his abilities to do just about anything...named Rookie of the Year (2008)...won three MVPs (2008, 2010-11))...won other awards such as best pitcher award, most versatile player award, and Cy Young award through his illustrious high school career...named to numerous teams including Shore Conference All-Division team, Rawlings All-American team, Perfect Game Underclassman All-American team, Under Armour All-American team, and All-Shore Media team...team won Monmouth County championship (2008) and sectional state runner-up (2009).
