Career Notes: Left-handed pitcher that spent his senior season as a member of Marshall's weekend rotation...has a plus fastball and a great ability to freeze batters...struck out his 200th career hitter in the fifth inning against Memphis (4/7/2012)...ended his career with 217 punchouts which ranks fourth in Marshall history...ranks second on Marshall's list of career starts (48) and fifth in innings pitched (261.1)...rung up a career high 10 hitters against Southern Miss (4/17/2010)...drafted at the conclusion of the 2011 season by the Texas Rangers in the 23rd round of the MLB draft...redrafted in 2012 in the 24th round by the Colorado Rockies.

2012: Threw seven quality starts in 14 weekend starts...owned a 4.15 ERA with a 4-6 record...struck out 60 hitters in 80.1 innings...struck out 20 hitters looking...did not allow an earned run for the first 13 innings of the season...teamed up with Joe Church for a combined shutout against Charleston Southern (2/25) where he struck out seven...recorded back-to-back eight-K performances against Gardner-Webb (3/10) and St. Bonaventure (3/17).

2011: Pitched in 14 games and made 13 starts alongside his right-handed counterpart, Arik Sikula...threw 78.1 innings and gathered 65 strikeouts...held an earned run average of 4.83 and limited opposing hitters to a .270 average...led the team with three wins (3-3 record)...credited with seven no-decisions although the Herd went 7-6 in his starts...rung up his 100th career strikeout at Lipscomb (2/26)...pitched a career high 7.1 innings against Houston (4/15) where he struck out eight, walked none, and gave up only two earned runs.

2010: Pitched in 16 total games, making 14 starts at the No. 2 pitcher in the MU rotation...tallied a 3-7 record with a 7.71 ERA in 67.2 innings...led the team and tied for fifth in C-USA in batters struck out looking (26) and 10th in total strikeouts (62)...averaged a team-best 8.25 strikeouts per nine innings...worked 6.2 innings, surrendering no runs on six hits with nine strikeouts to earn the win at Georgia Southern (3/7)...set a career-high with 10 strikeouts vs. Southern Miss (4/17)...tossed a career-best seven innings, giving up two earned runs with six strikeouts to defeat Houston (5/15).

Summer League: Lefty pitched out of the bullpen for the Madison Mallards of the Northwoods League...appeared in nine games, posting a 1-0 record with a 4.77 ERA...totaled 11.1 innings with 10 strikeouts.

2009: Appeared in 12 games, getting the starting nod on seven occasions...compiled a record of 1-1 with a 6.43 ERA...worked 35.0 innings, surrendering 33 hits...totaled 30 strikeouts...held lefties to a .182 (6-for-33) batting average...kept opponent's bats at bay with runners on base for a .220 (11-for-50) batting average...made first collegiate start at Eastern Kentucky (3/25)...tossed 5.0 innings allowing one unearned run on three hits with career-best six strikeouts to earn first collegiate win at No. 18 Ohio State (4/1)...worked 4.0 innings allowing no earned runs with five strikeouts at Kent State (4/8).
