2013: Made 22 appearances (all in relief) which were tied with Josh King and Ryan Hopkins for the most on the team...worked 20.2 innings with 21 K's and 11 walks...ERA was 5.66 with a 1-1 record...typically the first guy out of the pen, did not record any saves...combined for a shutout with Wayland Moore, Alex Thackston, and Matt Margaritonda at North Carolina A&T (4/24)...was the winning pitcher against No. 19 Houston after striking out his season-high of four in 2.2 innings (4/5)...also struck out four in 2.0 innings against Ohio (4/24)...gave up earned runs in only seven appearances.
2012 Summer League: Threw nine relief appearances with the West Virginia Miners of the Prospect League alongside teammates Gray Stafford and Sergio Leon...went 3-1 with an earned run average of 3.37 during the regular season...fanned 13 hitters over 24 innings of work...made one appearance in postseason competition, striking out two in a single inning save.
2012: Pitched 9.2 innings, all in relief...struck out a pair of hitters against Charleston Southern (2/25) and Coppin State (4/10)...fanned a total of six...earned run average was 5.59 with a record of 0-2.
2011 Summer League: Played for the Astro Falcons (Class B) League in Youngstown, Ohio for three years...threw 24.2 innings with 35 punchouts that season...held an earned run average of 3.26 and limited opponents to a .187 clip.
High School: Played baseball at West Branch High School...held a 2.43 earned run average in his senior season...struck out 80 in 64 innings pitched...went 6-4 with one save...named second team all-conference...awarded honorable mention junior year...won three sectional championships, two district championships, and was regional runner-up sophomore year...played in NEOBCA All-Star game senior year at Progressive Field.
