2013: Made 11 weekend starts in his true freshman season...also made two appearances from the pen over the final week of the season...finished 3-5 with a 4.53 ERA...was 3-1 after his first four starts...wins were against Northern Kentucky (3/10), Central Michigan (3/17), and Radford (3/24)...turned in a quality start in the win at Radford and another in a no-decision against Tulane (4/27) where he also went his career long of 6.1 innings...struck out five or more three times and fanned his career high of seven in five innings against Central Michigan (3/17)...struck out 36 and walked 28 in 47.2 total innings of work.
High School: Attended Saint Albans High School (two years) and Christchurch School (two years)...went 9-1 in his freshman season, winning second team all-state honors...managed a 5-4 record with first team all-state honors in sophomore season...improved to 7-3 upon transfer to Christchurch School for junior season...averaged a ridiculous 21.0 SO/9 that season and was named first team all-state...was named to the all-state team in his senior season for the third time and received the Virginia Prep League Player of the Year award after finishing 9-2.
