2016 (Sophomore): Named to the ABCA Mideast All-Region Second Team ... was named Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week on May 2 ... Appeared in and started in 51 games … primarily used at third base, but saw time at shortstop, second base and pitcher … had 66 hits in 202 at-bats for a .327 batting average with 47 RBIs … registered a .368 on-base percentage and a .579 slugging percentage … went 5-for-6 with five RBIs and four runs scored with one home run at Middle Tennessee (April 30) … second on the team with 12 home runs, including two grand slams at West Virginia (April 27) and at WKU (May 14) … recorded 19 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games … had a season high nine-game hit streak and reached base safely in nine straight games … was 5-for-15 with three RBIs at the Conference USA Tournament ... tossed 5.2 innings through six appearances with a 7.94 ERA … finished the season with 35 runs, 15 doubles and two stolen bases ... named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2015 (Freshman):
Appeared in 32 games, starting 30 … used primarily as a catcher and third baseman … recorded 19 hits in 96 at-bats for a .198 batting average … recorded four multi-hit games, including against WKU (May 10) … had three games of two RBIs or more … finished the season with 14 runs, eight RBIs, four doubles and three home runs … his three homers came against George Mason (March 8), Charlotte (April 12) and Middle Tennessee (April 26) … made three appearances on the mound … pitched 4.2 innings for a 5.79 ERA.


Prior to Marshall:
Attended T.C. Williams High School, home of the Titans, for four years... hit .350 his sophomore year, .401 his junior year, and .425 his senior year... was given All-Region and All-District honors.


Personal: Parents are Eric and Connie Ratliff... cousin Kelvin Rainey plays football at the University of Virginia... played with Alec Grosser in high school, current member of the Atlanta Braves organization... posted an overall high school GPA of 3.95 and made Honor Roll all four years... majoring in Management.
