Marshall Baseball to Hold High School Skills Camp|
Jan. 14, 2013
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall University’s baseball staff will conduct its High School Skills Camp on January 27 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., announced head coach Jeff Waggoner.
The event will be held in the Gullickson Hall gymnasium and is open to any and all interested participants ages 14-18. Entry fee is $75 per camper.
Questions regarding the camp can be directed to Tyler Gatrell, Marshall’s Director of Baseball Operations, by telephone at (304) 972-7670 or by email at email@example.com.
All players attending the camp will be put through workouts similar to what Coach Waggoner puts his current MU baseball players through. This will give the campers a chance to meet and get valuable instruction from Coach Waggoner and staff on all parts of the game. Informative talks on topics such as strength and conditioning, academics, and recruiting will also be incorporated. Ultimately, campers will get to experience what a day in the life of an MU baseball player is really about, all in an educational and competitive atmosphere.
