Baseball Announces Changes To 2009 Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University baseball head coach Jeff Waggoner recently announced the addition of three games to its 2009 schedule.

Marshall will host West Virginia State, Wednesday, March 18 at George T. Smailes Field at The Kennedy Center. First-pitch is set for 3:00 p.m. ET.

The Thundering Herd will travel to Morehead, Ky. for 3:00 p.m. contest against Morehead State on April 22.

The final change will be on the weekend of May 9-10. Marshall will now play a doubleheader on Saturday, with first-pitch of game one slated for 4:00 p.m. with game two set for a 7:00 p.m. start. The first game will be nine innings and game two will be seven. Sunday's single game will take place as regularly scheduled.
