Baseball Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness|

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University baseball team will be selling game worn specialty Breast Cancer Awareness jerseys this Saturday and Sunday against UCF at Appalachian Power Park. The Thundering Herd will donate half of the proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness.
The jerseys will be sold at the Marshall Merchandise Table along the first base line. Each jersey is priced at $50. Jerseys that are purchased over the weekend can be picked up at the merchandise table 20 minutes after the end of Sunday’s game. All jerseys that are purchased and are not picked up will be shipped out the following week.
The remaining jerseys from this weekend’s slate of games will be auctioned online starting Monday, April 26 at HerdZone.com until May 15.
Both Saturday and Sunday’s games are slated for 1 p.m. in Charleston.
