ABOUT THE CAMP
Campers will be instructed on the techniques and fundamentals of hitting, pitching, infield, outfield, catching, base running, bunting, cutoffs and relays, rundowns and sliding. Games will be played to emphasize the techniques learned in our daily instruction as part of the youth camp. All players will be grouped according to age and ability. Campers will remain with their assigned group as they rotate through stations and drills.
Campers will have the chance to be evaluated by the Marshall baseball coaching staff. Both clinics are designed to help players improve their individual skills. The drill work and one on one instruction are crucial to player development. Camp will cover valuable life skills as well as providing professional baseball instruction. This camp will help campers learn about the Herd program and develop confidence in their baseball abilities through improved athleticism and increased baseball skill.
