Marshall men's basketball Director of Operations Kyle Getter is in his second season with the Thundering Herd.

Getter comes to Marshall from Wright State University, where he served as the Director of Operations for two seasons under head coach Paul Biancardi. His duties with the Raiders included film exchange, video editing, team travel, recruiting, supervising player academics, overseeing the daily operations of the basketball office, and coordinating The Paul Biancardi Basketball Camp.

Before his arrival at Wright State, Getter worked with head coach Ron Jirsa at Dayton as a graduate manager in the 2002-03 season. During their time together, UD won the Atlantic 10 Tournament Championship and finished the year with a Top 25 ranking in the ESPN/USAToday and AP Polls.

"Kyle, Josh Postorino, and I have worked together in the past, so I'm certain his attention to detail and his communication skills will help us get the job done here at Marshall," said Jirsa.

A 2001 graduate of Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana, he served as an assistant coach at his alma mater from 1999-2002 and helped the team to a three-year record of 60-18, winning two conference championships. Before Hanover, Getter played two seasons at Centre College in Kentucky.
