Preseason candidate for MAC Defensive Player-of-the-Year; was called on for most of the 2003-04 season to guard opponent's best player...Started in all 29 games in 2003-04, and led the team in minutes played with 35.6 per game...averaged 8.9 points (2nd on team), 5.4 assists (1st on team), and 2.8 rebounds per game...led the team in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.2 and steals with 1.3 per game...placed second in the Mid-American Conference in assists, 12th in steals, and 3rd in assist-to-turnover ratio overall, and was tied for first in assists for MAC games only at 5.61 per contest...won MAC East Division Player-of-the-Week honors for his play in the Herd's MAC opener against Northern Illinois, when he posted 11 assists (tied a career high), grabbed seven rebounds (set a new career high), and notched two steals against no turnovers; it was his first MAC POTW honor...against Morehead State on November 29th, he posted his first career double-double with 11 points and ten assists...set a career high in points scored with 17 against Oregon in Portland on December 6th on 7-of-9 shooting...scored 17 points against Buffalo on January 17th in the Henderson Center...posted double-digit scoring games in five consecutive games from February 11th through February 24th...in Marshall's upset win over Western Michigan on February 15th, he scored 15 points, dished out six assists, and had three steals...in the Herd's win at UAB on December 30th, he played with one good shoe after the other one exploded during pregame warmups...has had four college coaches in four seasons (Dave Odom, Skip Prosser at Wake Forest, Greg White, Ron Jirsa at Marshall).

Sophomore Season
Led the Mid-American Conference in 2002-03 in assists per game (5.5) and assist to turnover ratio (2.19) in his first season with the Thundering Herd. Played and started in 25 games last season after becoming eligible after fall semester exams...averaged over 32 minutes a game, and provided the Thundering Herd with a stable force in the backcourt...averaged 5.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game...shot 40.4% (38-94) from the floor, 62.5% from beyond the arc (10-16), and was second on the team at 86.7% from the charity stripe (39-45)...had two double-digit assist games, including a career-high 11 against Morehead State in his second Marshall start; also had ten against Toledo on January 11th...had eight assists and no turnovers against Ohio in a double-overtime affair in which he played 44 minutes...had a career-best four steals against MAC Champion Central Michigan...dished out nine assists and committed only two turnovers against Kent State...had a career-high 15 points at Akron on 6-of-6 shooting...was 9-of-10 from the free throw line against Miami in the Henderson Center on March 8th...grabbed a career-high six rebounds against Akron on February 12th.
