*The Tigers have now won their last six C-USA Tournament Championship games. Memphis won four-consecutive CUSA Tournament crowns from 2006-09 and also claimed the 2011 tourney title. The Tigers have defeated five different schools in the title game: Marshall (2012), UTEP (2011), Tulsa (2009, 2008), Houston (2007) and UAB (2006). The six championships by Memphis are two more than any other school has claimed in the league's history (Cincinnati with four).
*The 26-point margin of victory tied for the largest margin of victory in a C-USA Tournament Championship Game (Memphis 77, Tulsa 51 in 2008).
The 2012 Tournament MVP is Memphis sophomore guard Joe Jackson. He becomes the first back-to-back Tournament MVP in C-USA history.
The 2012 C-USA All-Tournament Team is Dennis Tinnon and DeAndre Kane of Marshall, along with Will Barton, Tarik Black and Joe Jackson of Memphis.
*The .591 (26-of-44) field throw percentage by Memphis is a new Championship Final Game record, breaking the mark of .566 set by Memphis in 2008 vs. Tulsa.
*The .926 (25-of-27) free throw percentage by Memphis is a new Championship Final Game record, breaking the mark of .833 set by Memphis in 2009 vs. Tulsa.
*Head coach Josh Pastner is the first Tigers coach to win two conference tournament titles in his first three seasons as head coach. Dana Kirk (third season in 1981-82) and Larry Finch (first season in 1986-87) are the only other Memphis coaches with one league tourney title in their first three seasons.
*Memphis is now 15-0 all-time as a No.1 seed in the C-USA Tournament.
*The Tigers have won their last three C-USA Tournament Championship games played at FedExForum by an average of 25.7 points (Marshall today and Tulsa in 2009 and 2008).
*Memphis won their three games in this year's C-USA Tournament by an average of 25.0 points. The Tigers three opponents shot a combined .383 (64-of-167) in the tournament.

*Sophomore guard Will Barton posted his 11th double-double of the season with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
*This was the third time this season that Memphis has placed five players in double-figure scoring.
*Junior forward Dennis Tinnon had four rebounds, extending his record C-USA Tournament total to 44.
*In this year's C-USA Tournament, sophomore guard DeAndre Kane averaged 22.0 points per game. He played 165 of Marshall's 175 total minutes in the tournament.
*In six career Conference USA tournament games, Kane has scored 120 points (20.0 average), grabbed 36 rebounds (6.0 per game) and played 234 minutes -- an average of 39.0 per game.
