Herd Drops Tough 102-94 Overtime Decision at Morehead State|

MOREHEAD, Ky.-The Morehead State men’s basketball team erased a 21-point first-half deficit and slipped past visiting Marshall 102-94 in overtime Sunday afternoon at Johnson Arena.
MSU improved to 3-1 overall, while the Herd dropped to 2-1.
The Eagles were led by 24 points apiece from Brent Arrington and Bakari Turner, while Angelo Warner had 15, Chad Posthumus posted 14 and Luka Pajokovic added 13.
Marshall was led by Elijah Pittman’s 31 points (10-11 on free throws), while Kareem Canty chipped in 19 points and nine assists to go with Ryan Taylor’s 12 points and Shawn Smith’s 10.
The two teams combined for 76 fouls and 108 free throw attempts in a game that was stop and start throughout.
