Marshall will host Delaware State in its final non-conference home game of the season and its first game of 2013 on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The Thundering Herd (7-6) will be in action for the first time since before Christmas, an 82-54 defeat at No. 23 Kentucky on Dec. 22.
The Cam Henderson Center has been a comfortable place for the Herd so far this season, with a 6-0 record. Under third-year head coach Tom Herrion, Marshall is 21-3 against non-conference opponents in Henderson.
Marshall has shown resiliency in defeat. Of its five losses (excluding Kentucky), Marshall has won its next game on four occasions.

Junior guard D.D. Scarver
leads the Herd in scoring with 15.0 points per game. DeAndre Kane
is also averaging 15.0 points per game, but the junior guard has missed the last four games with a right hand injury.
Junior forward Elijah Pittman has averaged 14.8 points per game. He and Scarver have scored in double-figures in all but two games and have made a three-pointer in every game.
Delaware State (5-8), located in Dover, is a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. Marshall is 2-0 against MEAC teams this season with wins over Coppin State and Savannah State.
It will be the Hornets eighth true road game this season as they are 1-6 on the road including their last game, a 79-50 loss at Maryland on Saturday.
Marshall leads the all-time series 1-0 with the Herd winning the only meeting 90-62 on Jan. 2, 1985.
