@HerdMBB Announces 2016 Summer Camp Series|

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall men’s basketball will host five youth camps over the summer months at Cam Henderson Center, coach Dan D’Antoni announced Wednesday.
Campers will have the opportunity to work with current players as well as Thundering Herd basketball alumni. For Herd Camp and Little Herd Camp, a $50 non-refundable payment is due with the application to reserve a spot, and the remaining balance is due at registration on the first day of camp.
Herd Camp will run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday, June 6, to Wednesday, June 8, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, June 9. The camp is open to those age 7-17 and costs $175. Lunch will be served Monday through Wednesday in an all-you-can-eat facility located on the Marshall University campus.
Little Herd Camp is for boys and girls age 5 through entering 7th grade, and costs $135. The camp will run 9 a.m. to noon from Monday, July 11, to Thursday, July 14. Campers will play games while learning the fundamentals of basketball, including ball handling, defense and shooting form.
For the first time, Herd Camp and Little Herd Camp will feature Theme Days. Campers with the best outfits will wear prizes. The schedules are as follows:
Little Herd Camp
The three team events include High School Team Camp on June 16-17, a Middle School Shoot-Out on June 18 and a High School Shoot-Out on June 24. Coaches must submit the registration form to reserve a spot. All players on the roster must have signed registration forms and parent waivers along with a copy of a school physical to participate.
