Started in 11 of 12 games, despite battling injuries...went 11 for 22 including an 88 yard pass, his longest of the season, in his two touchdown effort against Illinois State in his first collegiate game...threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns in a 23-21 loss at UAB...averaged 157.0 total offensive yards a game...finished the season with 1,767 passing yards, 14 passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown and 13 interceptions.

Redshirted, did not play...Finished a productive spring by completing 16-of-21 passes for 181 yards in the 2008 Green & White Spring Game.

Selected to the 2006 North-South All-Star game...named the 2005 Region 2-A Athlete-of-the-Year...multi-sport standout who was a two-time all-state player in baseball and a two-time all-region player in basketball...recorded 5,549 yards passing with 41 touchdowns and five addition rushing scores in his prep career...rated as the No. 25 player in South Carolina by Rivals.com.

Son of Nancy and John Cann...major is education...played high school football for his father at Landrum.
