JUNIOR SEASON (2016): Played in 11 games, including five starts at running back … Finished fourth on the team in rushing (291 yards) and seventh in receiving (74 yards) … Led the team in punt return yardage with 136 on 15 returns, while also gaining 122 yards on five kickoff returns … Averaged 56.6 all-purpose yards per game, which ranked second on the team … Rushed for a season-high 77 yards on 18 carries against Akron … Carried 12 times for 45 yards in a win against Florida Atlantic … Gained 40 yards on nine carries at Southern Mississippi … Scored on a 3-yard run and 22-yard reception in a win against Middle Tennessee … Became the first player since Devon Johnson (Purdue, 2015) with a rushing and receiving score in the same game.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015): Moved from wide receiver to running back during non-conference portion of season, and with injuries to returning starter Devon Johnson, made debut in backfield in Oct. 17 win at Florida Atlantic, rushing for 122 yards on 17 carries, including a 66-yard scoring run … The next week, ran for 105 yards on 17 carries in homecoming victory over North Texas … Finished season as Herd’s No. 2 rusher, gaining 450 yards on 99 carries with 3 TDs … Also caught `17 passes for 96 yards in his 12 games … Before the move to RB, had 11 receptions in three games at receiver, including seven catches in Week 2 loss at Ohio … Had nine punt returns for 37 yards, including a 28-yarder in opening win over Purdue  … One kick return for 18 yards … Completed his only pass attempt, a 30-yarder, in overtime loss at Middle Tennessee … It was the first running back pass attempt and completion by Marshall in Coach Doc Holliday’s seasons (2010-present), and the first since Sept. 26, 2009, when RB Darius Marshall had a 27-yard completion to freshman wide receiver Aaron Dobson on the second play of the third quarter in a 27-16 win over Memphis at the Liberty Bowl … One of five Herd rushers with at least 330 yards in 2015.
