John Landwehr begins his first season at Marshall as an Offensive Graduate Assistant, working primarily with the offensive line.

Prior to coming to Marshall, Landwehr worked as the Offensive Line Coach at Santa Monica College for two seasons (2012 and 2013). While at Santa Monica, he helped coach his team to two American Pacific Conference Championships and an overall record of 17-4. Under his tutelage, Dominique Vaughn, Marquice Shakir, and Dontae Levingston were named first team All-California Junior College. Furthermore, Levingston was named to the first-team All-America Junior College team. Levingston also had five offensive linemen named All-American Pacific Conference in his two seasons at Santa Monica.

Before Santa Monica College, Landwehr worked as a Football Operations Intern for the Seattle Seahawks (2011) and at the University of Arizona (2008-2010). He graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Secondary Education and History in 2011.

A native from Sacramento, CA, Landwehr lives in Huntington with his girlfriend Jennifer Mollner.
