R-JUNIOR SEASON (2016): Played in nine games with four starts at running back … Dynamic kickoff returner … Led the team in rushing attempts (113), rushing yards (469) and rushing touchdowns (six) … Became the sixth different season rushing leader under Doc Holliday, joining Martin Ward, Tron Martinez, Kevin Grooms, Essray Taliaferro and Devon Johnson … Gained all of his rushing yardage in the first eight games of the season … Season high rushing performance came against Charlotte (90 yards) … Scored touchdowns against Akron, Pittsburgh, Florida Atlantic (two), Charlotte and Southern Mississippi … Returned 26 kickoffs for 603 yards and a touchdown … 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown at North Texas nearly tied for the longest in school history … Only the third player in school history with at least a 99-yard return … Ended the season with 150 touches for 1,128 yards – an average of 125.3 all-purpose yards per game … Ranked No. 10 in Conference USA in all-purpose yardage … Only player in Conference USA with at least 400 rushing yards and 600 kickoff return yards … 90 rushing yards vs. Charlotte was a career high … Two-TD game against FAU was a career first … Tied for No. 15 in Conference USA in rushing touchdowns … Also added 11 receptions out of the backfield … Caught four passes for 52 yards against Akron … Added a 12-yard receiving touchdown in the fourth quarter against nationally ranked Louisville.

R-SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015): Played eight games, with first career start in Oct. 3 home victory over Old Dominion … Earned that start by leading the Herd on the ground the previous week with 129 yards on 24 carries, with two TDs, in double-overtime triumph at Kent State … Then against ODU in MU’s conference opener, posted 127 yards on 32 trips with a TD … Finished season with 64 carries for 327 yards and three scores … Also made two receptions for 14 yards … Midseason knee injury cost him five games, but returned for final three games of the season … In first of those, a 52-0 rout of FIU, gained 39 yards on three carries, including his season-long 25-yard run … With a pounding running style, has only 6 yards of losses in 71 career carries … One of five Herd rushers with at least 330 yards in 2015.

R-FRESHMAN SEASON (2014): Played in four games in second half of season (Southern Miss, Rice, Louisiana Tech, Boca Raton Bowl), rushing seven times for 56 yards and one touchdown … Had season-best 37 yards on four carries in win at Southern Miss, including a 26-yard run for a score that wrapped Marshall’s 63-17 victory … Had two rushes for 14 yards in Boca Raton Bowl win over Northern Illinois.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013): Redshirted.

HERD FILE: Born Nov. 23, 1993 … Nicknamed “Pit-Bull” … Selected the Herd over offers from Cincinnati, Miami (Fla.), Ole Miss, Northern Illinois, Old Dominion, Purdue and Syracuse … In two seasons as the Phoebus High starting tailback, rushed for 3,361 yards and 39 touchdowns … Gained 1,761 yards and scored 22 touchdowns in 241 carries during his 2012 senior season, as Phoebus High went 12-1 and reached the Class AAA, Division 5 regional finals round of the Virginia high school playoffs … All-Eastern Region second team pick by VirginiaPreps.com … Ran for 1,577 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior, earning All-Peninsula District honors in talent-rich Tidewater area.
