Transferred to Marshall after playing two seasons at FCS member James Madison, where he was the starting quarterback as a sophomore (2013), throwing for 2,728 yards and 22 touchdowns with 15 interceptions ... Rushed for 310 yards as a sophomore ... Left the Dukes following a change of head coaches ... In JMU career, had 3,206 yards passing (268-of-453) with 26 touchdowns and 16 interceptions ... The Dukes finished 6-6 (3-5 Colonial AA) ... Top passing performance was 23-of-34 for 355 yards and five touchdowns in a 41-38 home loss to Stony Brook in Week 11. The next week in the season finale, he rushed for 136 yards on 26 attempts and was 20-of-39 passing for 170 yards in a 28-17 loss at Towson ...
