2006 (Junior):
Started 11 games under center for the Herd...Finished the season with 1,346 yards passing and eight touchdowns...Was the Herd's second-leading rusher with 324 yards and two touchdowns...Completed 12-of-22 passes for 168 yards with a touchdown along with eight rushes for 37 yards in the season opener at West Virginia...Threw for 153 yards and two scores, while rushing for 151 yards in the Herd's 54-31 win over Hofstra...He became the first Marshall quarterback since 1978 to rush for 100 yards in a single game (Danny Wright was the last Herd signal caller to accomplish the feat when he rushed for 141 yards against Furman on Oct. 28, 1978)...Recorded his first rushing touchdown of the season at Tennessee...Threw for 136 yards and a touchdown against UCF...Had a 192-yard effort with a touchdown at SMU...Completed 5-of-7 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown to go along with eight rushes for 31 yards at UAB before leaving the game because of injury...Completed 2-of-3 passes for 94 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown strike in the Homecoming win against Memphis...He also left that game because of an injury...Threw for 227 yards, adding a touchdown through the air and on the ground against the Tulane Green Wave.

2005 (Sophomore):
Appeared in nine games under center for the Herd last season, starting six...Won the job over Jimmy Skinner prior to week two before succumbing to an injury late in the season...Morris finished the season with 1,121 yards with six touchdowns and six interceptions...Was the Herd's second-leading rusher with 256 yards and four scores...Threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns on 15-of-23 passing to lead the Herd to a 36-24 season-opening victory over William & Mary...Went 7-of-12 for 73 yards before getting injured in his first career start against Kansas State Sept. 10...Second start came against UCF in his hometown of Orlando...Threw for 72 yards on 8-of-13 passing...Threw for a career-high 314 yards on 34-of-60 passing vs. SMU...However it was Morris' legs that helped the Herd to victory...Morris rushed for a pair of touchdowns, including his 15-yard scamper in overtime to give the Herd a 16-13 overtime victory...Morris' first tochdown run of the night (a four-yard run with 1:30 left in regulation) tied the game and sent it into overtime...After throwing for 117 yards with a touchdown and an interception at Virginia Tech, Morris' heroics lifted the Herd to yet another victory...Trailing 19-14 with less than seven minutes left in the fourth quarter against UAB, Morris ran an option fake around right guard and found the end zone 40 yards later for the eventual game-winning score...Morris then led the Herd to its final victory of the season against Tulane in Mobile, Ala....Trailing 26-14 in the fourth, Morris' three-yard run cut the Green Wave's lead to five before Morris drove the Herd downfield for the eventual game-winning score with nearly two minutes remaining in regulation.

2004 (Freshman):
Saw limited action in three games at receiver and quarterback ... recorded five carries for 21 yards and attempted only one pass ... had a season long 15 yard run at Ohio State ... tremendous athlete who is expected to battle for the starting job at quarterback in 2005.

Redshirted, did not play ... in the 2004 spring game completed 11 of 21 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns ... possesses great talent and athleticism that has drawn comparisons to several former Marshall star quarterbacks.

High School:
An invited walk-on at Marshall that has earned a scholarship ... played for coach Birto Benjamin at Jones High in Orlando ... lettered in football, basketball and baseball in high school ... was named team's best offensive back and best offensive player ... threw for 1,179 yards as a senior with 14 touchdowns ... averaged nine points and 10 rebounds per game for the hoops squad, helping the team to a 29-6 record and a class 3A state runner-up finish.
